The Two Types of Small Business Start-up Entrepreneurs

There are two types of small business start-up entrepreneurs that exist in the world; those who read websites such as this one to seek information they can use to start or further progress their self employment ambitions and those do not even know that sites like these have been written.

What I am referring to in the latter category are those entrepreneurs who start a small business they way it was meant to be, the “fly by the seat of your pants” operator with no college education and the raw natural talent they we wish we all had.

The Richard Bransons of this world have dispelled the beliefs that GCSEs and a financial studies based degree are useful, if not necessary tools for being successful in business.

The lessons of reality that can be learnt from seeing such examples immense and formidable achievement from raw talent highlight the fact that starting a small business and growing those operations in to some significant is not a mechanical, robotic like process.

Understanding business and marketing tools is just not enough and like so many successes and failures, it is the X factor which determines who will win and who will lose.

So what are the point of Complete Business Start-up and other sites like it? Is it simply to tell us that we should not be reading them; that we should be off making our fortune it, defining the business world and going boldly where no one has gone before? The answer of course is no and like so many other areas in our consciousness, the right solution for most of us lies not at the extremes, but somewhere in the middle ground.

The point of this article is to emphasise that the product “Business Start-up Success in a Box” has not yet been launched and until its release, we are going to have to rely on our whit, skills, initiative and other God given talents to make our new ventures work.

Not meaning to stifle opportunity, bravery and hope, but those who frequently respond to the advertisements which claim to be able to provide £500 per week for 2 hours work should have a trusted friend control their bank accounts.
